Autobus Maheux has, as part of their fleet, a bus which is equipped with an elevating platform for easy access for those with limited mobility.

This bus is available for long distance travel. For additional inforation about this service please call 1-800-699-2889. To ensure availability for this service you must reserve at least 72 hours in advance.

Free Accompaniment

Autobus Maheux as well as every other Quebec Carrier offers a free ticket to those accompanying a handicapped person as long as they are a holder of the "Carte Quebecoise de l'accompagnement".

This card is given by the APAQ (Association des proprietaires d'autobus du Quebec). To obtain this card you must contact APAQ directly or you can get an application at the Rouyn Noranda or the Val d'Or terminals.
